Girls Night Out!

We're a little late in posting these pictures, but they are still worthy of seeing. What an evening it was in mid February...Girls Night Out at the International Design Center to raise funds for the Southwest Florida Symphony Society. The back drop for the JMS display was the stunning bedroom and dressing room which was designed by Kira Krumm. Check it out!

I love the Missoni print of this "out of the box" duster. Elegant over a black column dress, sporty and chic over jeans or leggings. Love it!

Perfect for Spring, a stunning little t-shirt with a design emphasis on the shoulder and a feminine sleeve. The mix and match skirts create totally different outfits. They can be worn high on midriff for the new trendy waist definition or lower, turned down on the hip.

Symphony Society's Girls Night Out!

Single and Fifteen Twenty

LaCite! - Revisiting a Favorite

This charmuese camp shirt made it's debut last fall. It's classic style, satin sheen and flattering fit transends the spring scene working it's way into all types of casual chic outfits. JMS understands that classic pieces give great leverage to a wardrobe that works season to season.



The camp shirt doubles as a little jacket. The camilsole is bright with a mixture of spring colors, floral print and polka dots. That same brilliant little floral camisole looks equally as sharp with hot orange. Normally I think "Halloween" when mixing black and orange, but the colors of the cami pulls it all together! Now I ask you, what speaks Spring more than patent leather designed in the form of a little black bow purse!

Laquette - Looks

The stripe tank or tee shirt is a MUST in every women's wardrobe. It is a seasonless classic. It mixes and matches with white dress pants for a cruise look, jeans for schlepp or with black skirt or pants for a chic dressier ensemble. But, what makes this stripe "rule" is the gold metalic trim.


A hit of metallic in the wardrobe is seasonless. Embellish a very simple olive, black or white tank with gold and silver or layer it over a solid metallic tank for more punch. Now accessorize with a purse that takes the whole look to a new level. Viola! Style personified.


Do you see it? The power of stripe and metallics? Check out the belts. On the first model the belt is muted olive with gentle gold stoning. The pants? Champagne shimmer fabric. The second model is simply dressed in the double layer tank and black jeans. The belt is by Raina in stunning muted gold with coin clasp. The third model is belted with a "killer" rhinestone link ring belt ( belted over the little stripe tanks, mind you). The point is that the simple little tanks can go from very casual to chic cocktail.

Favorites - Laquette!

Camisoles in classic stripes, trimmed with gold and designed with a low scoop neck enable you to up the level of style by layering it with the camisoles in the picture below. The tank center front simply pulls together a sexy sweetheart style, embellished with black lace to wear under a black cardigan or jacket. Throw it on with jeans or dress it up with black flippy skirt and boots. Remember, camisoles are an important pivotal piece in a wardrobe that really works.


Something big happening this spring is "metallic". It shows up in subtle trim detail on these knit camisoles and "full on" in the solid gold tank above. Such a simple little touch that makes a huge difference in the over all look. Layer them or wear them on their own. Love it!
